Great weekend had by all, what a wonderful bunch of young people.
27th September till 29th September
Taking 30 S4 pupils from 5 schools to Northern Ireland for a learning about sectarianism weekend Belfast then up to Corrymeela Peace Camp for rest of weekend.
On the 26th August held "The Gathering" at Council Headquarters. Youngsters going to N/Ireland in September meeting and learning about the weekend trip.
The youngsters from the 4 schools who attended the event were led by "The Corry Team" Emma King, Gabrielle Maberly and Ciara Betoncini-Gilmour who ran some workshops and explained the Corry experience to them.
Many thanks go to Provost Jim Todd, Council Leader Douglas Reid, Tom Cook and Claire Maitland for taking the time to talk and encourage the youngsters. Alyia Zaheed (Equality & Diversity Officer), Maggie Henderson (Vibrant Comm) and Craig Marshall (Police Scotland)for all there hard work.
